Review
Starring the highly popular
Mickey Hargitay, this film is a classic that shouldn’t be
missed. Hargitay stars as a reclusive actor who has gone mad and is now
possessed by the evil spirit of the Crimson Executioner.
His innocent victims turn out to be a group looking for locations for a
photo shoot. They stumble upon what appears to be a deserted castle and
believe it will be perfect for their purpose. The castle was actually
the former home of the Crimson Executioner. The Crimson Executioner was
a murderer who killed himself in the castle just after placing a curse
on anyone who might enter the castle.
As we know, the castle isn’t really deserted, but is instead
inhabited by Hargitay’s character, the retired actor who
simply wanted some solitude. He invites the group to spend the night at
the castle and take pictures. His only request is for them to stay away
from the dungeon.
Of course, that is just too much temptation and the group of
photographers and models almost immediately make a trip to the dungeon
where they discover a wide array of torture devices. They believe the
devices will serve as good props for their photos.
Unfortunately, something goes wrong and one of the models is killed by
spikes that begin to fall. Was it merely an accident, or, is it
possible there is a murderer somewhere in the castle. One by one more
members of the group begin to disappear. It would certainly seem that
the Crimson Executioner has returned to make good on the curse he
placed on the castle.
With everything necessary for a good horror flick, a creepy castle full
of secrets, a dungeon outfitted with torture devices and a crazy madman
on the loose, this film is a true classic. Extremely entertaining and
definitely a film that shouldn’t be missed.

Review
This is perhaps one of the most
interesting films ever produced. The basic idea of the film is quite
fantastic and possesses a large amount of novelty as well as mood.
The plot centers around a Confederate captain by the name of Wishbone
Cutter (played by Joe Don Baker) and his half-breed Indian scout who is
also a mystic. The two survive the Civil War and then go in search of a
cache of diamonds that have been hidden in a haunted cave in a mountain
that is said to be cursed.
Along the way on their search they run into a geology expert and then
rescue a damsel in distress. The band of explorers eventually make
their way to the mountain and meet up with a cannibal.
There are numerous twists and turns throughout the movie to keep you
interested along with a bit of every kind of favorite genre including
high adventure, romance, drama, war, western and horror. Regardless of
what type of film you prefer you will find something in this film to
like.

Review
In this entertaining film, a
man is having an affair with a married woman. He finds himself on the
wrong street after trying to return to his hotel. It is raining and he
stands out in the rain until he is finally invited inside by an older
man, who turns out to be a mortician. As they wait out the rain, the
man tells him stories of the people who have ended up in his
establishment.
As the film reveals stories of the people the mortician has worked
with, there is some humor as well as quite a bit of clever dialogue.
Great acting ability by the two leads round out this wonderful and
memorable film.
If you like offbeat, humorous films with a dark side this is definitely
a film that should not be missed. It has enough interesting aspects
through the revelations of the stories of each of the four corpses to
keep everyone interested while providing a backdrop that perfectly
melds all of the stories together.

Review
This is one of the most
interesting Frankenstein films ever produced. The leading lady of the
film, Rosalba Neri (as Sara Bay), is nothing short of magnificent and
possesses incredible on screen presence. She is often known for her
sexy and sexual presence on the screen but she also demonstrates
incredible acting talent as well.
In a rather novel and unique departure from the usual Frankenstein
films, this movie delivers a strong impact. It begins by Dr.
Frankenstein purchasing a corpse from a grave robber in order to use it
in his experiments. Unfortunately, his daughter arrives and puts
somewhat of a kink in his plans. He continues on, however, in his plan
to create life. Eventually his monster does come to life and almost
immediately kills the doctor.
The daughter is also a doctor and wants to continue her father's
experiments. While the monster continues to terrorize the entire
community, the daughter works on a plan to take the brain from the lab
assistant and place it into a servant. The only question that remains
is whether she will succeed.
