Review

Tiger love can be tender and it can be rough. In this highly unusual adventure, it turns out to be both. Start with a young couple in love. They don't realize it at this point, but she is pregnant. Enter the family who are opposed to this marriage.

In the ensuing dust-up (new expression for me) she falls off a cliff and is believed to have been killed. Why no one bothers to search for the body is not explained. But she survives and is rescued by a tiger. The tiger takes care of her and the son she bears.

Fast forward to the son who is now a teenager and wants to visit his mother's village where he comes in touch with the father (now married to another). In the ensuing trouble, the tiger goes on a rampage. You just have to see it to believe it.

(Webmaster aside - This film is not to be confused (who would?) with another of the same name which follows a Spanish Robin Hood who calls himself the Wildcat.)

Review

Ninja fans will be certain to absolutely love this film. It is a definite departure from many classic Ninja movies containing an element that is completely different and interesting. The direction, acting and great plot make for a movie that is completely spell-binding. This movie really does have it all. In many ways, this movie is destined to become a classic itself and will certainly be a sure fire hit with ninja fans.

The film was incredibly well made. From the fabulous photography and compositions to the excellent acting and superb plot, this movie will absolutely blow you away. The costumes and set designs are nothing short of stupendous. (Webmaster aside - This is a new word for my reviewer and he may have overstated his case).

The musical score is quite impressive as well. This is quite surprising as the musical scores for many such films fall short of being great. That is pleasantly not the case in this film, which is certain to delight martial arts fans. Production standards for this film were obviously very high and the movie contains wonderful cinematography, lighting, action and acting. (Webmaster aside - Okay my little friend, what were you on when you watched this turkey. Checking IMDB, I found the following comment Terrible, but hilariously terrible!)

Review

In this classic martial arts film, a fortune teller has prophesized that the person who marries the incredibly beautiful Ukio will become the next ruler of the world. This makes her quite naturally very popular among those who would dearly love to obtain power.

In particular, she is quite popular with Lord Donjo who is insatiable in his desire for power. Only one ninja can foil his plan and as a result save her. In order to do that, he must first do battle with a deadly team of evil monks who serve Lord Donjo.

This movie really is unlike anything else you have ever seen. It takes a decidedly pleasant departure from similar movies and is surprising in both its simplicity and its complexity. The plot itself is quite superb and interesting. In addition, the direction and cinematography are absolutely breathtaking. This is a film that you cannot help but love, if you watch it.
