Review

Lee Long is a martial-arts champion who occasionally works with the police as an undercover agent. In this case he is attempting to infiltrate a drug ring that is responsible for importing heroin from Japan to Hong Kong. After he is identified and then imprisoned (reminds me of "...the secretary will disavow all knowledge of your actions..."), the police begin to put pressure on his sister, Tina Long, to assist them in their efforts to free her brother.

After agreeing to their plan, she calls on her brother’s martial-arts school for help, including the very powerful Sonny Kawasaka. As a result, the ensuing battle scenes feature many different styles of fighting. The drug ring is determined not to go down without a fight and have accumulated their own tricks in an effort to win the war that is taking place.

Featuring the very well known Sonny Chiba in another of his series of films, this movie delivers strongly in terms of characterization and fight scenes. Featuring some exciting and dynamic action sequences, this is a film that combines the best of everything in martial arts.

Review

In this high action oriented film, a martial arts expert named Chang Chen-Wai (Michael Chan) runs a jade import business along with his brother Chang Fan. When Chang Fan suddenly disappears on a buying trip in Thailand, Chang Chen-Wai becomes concerned and makes the decision to travel to Thailand in order to find his brother. Once he arrives, he meets up with another kung fu expert by the name of Li Pai-Yu.

Together they fight off local thugs in the village and quickly become friends. Li offers to help Chang Chen-Wai in search of his brother and they embark on a journey that involves some mystery and twists and turns. They discover that Chang Fan was actually murdered by the goons of a local gangster and Chang Chen-Wai sets out to avenge his brother’s death.

Filled with suspense and mystery along with some very well choreographed action scenes, this is a film that will leave you precariously balancing on the edge of your seat as you follow the action. Solid casting and a sound storyline prove to be a workable combination for this film, a must see for all action film fans. Maybe you can figure out what it all has to do with Bruce Lee. I couldn't.

Review

In this action filled film we follow a band of robbers who took a treasure map three yeas ago and divided it into 8 different pieces. There is a police officer who will now stop at nothing in order to retrieve all of the pieces. As one might imagine, the rest of the film is a mad chase to retrieve all the pieces, with twists at every turn keeping you hanging on the edge of your seat to the very end.

There are several high-kicking confrontations, showing off some fancy footwork that would be the envy of any martial arts fan. The fight scenes leading up to the culmination of the film are particularly awe inspiring.

An exciting film, unique in style and storyline, this film features superb characterization, casting and acting. This is a film you will surely want to add to your collection and view time and time again. If you are a fan of martial arts inspired action films you surely won’t want to miss this movie.

Review

This film is truly a gem, particularly for action fans. Featuring breathtaking fight scenes, including some high-level kung fu scenes, this movie will leave you impaled on the edge of your seat.

Characterization in the film is excellent, highlighting a hero who is not only a self-confident fighter but also a believable character as well. Comedic relief moments are appropriately scattered throughout the movie.

Our plot focuses on a rather mysterious killer who actually turns out to be two killers. This is an extremely entertaining movie, featuring bold fight scenes, comedy and suspense that will leave you wondering what will happen next.

A rare movie, definitely worth seeing, with plenty of exciting action and adventure. Filled with interesting dialogue and excellent acting that compliment a very well crafted storyline. Numerous action scenes make this movie an edge of your seat winner that will keep you hanging on until the very end. Choreography, acting and cinematography are handled very well with a culmination that is punctuated with a fight scene that will leave you gasping for breath.
