Review
Bruce Li fans won’t want to miss this classic movie. Bruce Li and Chang Leih portray a pair of undercover detectives working to bring down a band of counterfeiters who have made it their mission to take Hong Kong as their new territory. Yin-Chieh Han of Fists of Fury fame portrays the head of the operation, Han Tin Lung. (Reviewer aside - Are Bruce Lee and Bruce Li the same person? I can't tell, they all look alike to me.)
Han discovers he not only has problems with the police force interfering in his business but his partner has suddenly become quite unhappy with his cut of the counterfeit business. When he tries to bring a relative of Han, Donna, on his side, the problems really start. The character of Donna is well developed and amply revealed bringing a humorous and often amusing tone to the film as she interacts with the various other characters.
Several surprise twists and turns and revelations will keep you rooted to the edge of your seat in this highly entertaining martial arts film. Complete with numerous Kung-Fu fighting showdowns that will leave you in awe, including a final climatic showdown. This is a film that you will want to add to your collection and watch again and again.

Review
This could be one of the most interesting films to be released during the heyday of the 1970’s. In it, an evil oriental Dragon Lady crime syndicate boss finds a way to inject three former martial arts fighters with a special serum that essentially turns them into her own personal specially trained assassins. Once she has them under her control and power she begins to send them out to terminate anyone who gets in her way.
A highly entertaining movie, the film begins and ends with a surprise. The opening scene sets the pace for the rest of the film with a fight scene that demonstrates some interesting martial arts moves. Now under the power of the evil crime syndicate boss, the newly created death machines are sent out to take out some of their lady boss’ enemies in order to prove their allegiance to her. Plot twists along the way will keep you adhered to the edge of your seat wondering where the storyline will take you next.
While this film was originally created on a very low budget, you will be amazed at the special effects included such as several car crashes and even an airplane explosion. Martial arts fans will enjoy the big fight scene that takes place at the martial arts school while action fans won’t be disappointed with a large battle that occurs between a phone booth and a bulldozer (really).
Throughout the film the death machines remain completely silent. They hardly need to speak at all as they continue to assassinate anyone their boss deems appropriate. A film for true action and martial arts fans at heart, this film is one you won’t forget for some time to come.

Title - Deadly Duo Starring - Chen Shing, John Liu, Angela Mao-Ying, Sin Lung-Leung, Chiang-Lung Wen Directed by - Yeung Ching Chen (aka Yang Ching Chen) Producer(s) - uncredited Screenwriter(s) - Kuang Ni
Review
An old-style kung fun movie starring John Liu and Angela Mao. This film was also presented as "The Two Great Cavaliers" and "Blade of Fury". As viewers may know, John Lui has earned a reputation as a famous super kicker while Angela Mao is without a doubt one of the best female kung fu fighters in the business. Lots of action that will keep you pinned to the edge of your seat. Choreography is nothing short of amazing.
If you’re looking for a great martial arts film, this is the one to watch. With lots of great fighting, fantastic direction and a great musical score to boot, you can’t miss with this film. You’ll be sure to watch it time and time again. An absolute winner and a rare movie that is definitely worth seeing with plenty of exciting action and adventure. Interesting dialogue and excellent acting compliment a well crafted storyline.
Numerous action scenes make this film a winner that will keep you hanging on to the very end. Choreography, acting and cinematography are all handled very well. The movie culminates in an awesome fight scene that will leave you breathless to boot.

Title - Killer of Snake Fox of Shaolin Starring - Carter Wong, Mon Wun-Hsia, Kuo Wu-Sing, Lily Han, Cheung Li Directed by - Man Weh Producer(s) - Yih San Pao Screenwriter(s) - uncredited
Review
From a popular genre comes this fantasy tale about fox spirits in love with mere mortals and the supernatural combat between rival spirits that soon ensues. The tale begins as Carter Wong meets up with ghost spirits and falls in love with one of them.
The visual aspects of this film are particularly arresting and are certainly something that you will remember for quite some time. Much of the film was shot on location in Taiwan and these scenes are particularly memorable. The transformation of animal spirits to human forms and then into animals such as foxes and other animals is handled with ease. Other special effects contribute to the overall feeling of the film.
Choreography is also notable with fight scenes that set the standard for this genre of film. They serve as an excellent showcase for Carter Wong’s skills which are known to be quite fast paced. Excellent directing, casting and a solid storyline combine to create a film that is surely a classic and one that you will want to add to your collection.
(Webmaster aside - I'm not sure that my little reviewer was really paying close attentiion to this film. I do check up on him once in awhile as I preview all these movies myself. You might want to consider a couple of alternate, "slightly" less favorable, reviews found at IMDB presented by Yagyu Tajima from Texas and others.)
