In true Shaolin fashion this is a film that will astound, amaze and delight. Starring Carter Wong and Yen Nan-Hsi, this is a film that martial arts fans will find to be both dramatic and gripping. This film could quite possibly be one of Wong's best films with plenty of seat gripping action and a storyline that is compelling and will leave you wondering until the very end what will happen next.

Make sure you pay close attention because in many of the fight scenes, the choreography is so detailed and fast that you may find yourself wondering if the action could actually be real. Rest assured that it most certainly is. The exciting choreography, however, is just the tip of the many perks this film has to offer. Acting and storyline are both very solid.

If you are a ninja fan you won't want to miss this continuation in the popular Ninja Death series. The black robed martial artists known as ninjas are actually a secret clan who follow their own code of honor. The third installment in the series takes you into their adventurous secret world and allows you to gain an up close and personal look at this ancient cult.

Certain to be a film you will want to watch again and again, this series is about as good as it gets when it comes to martial arts movies. There is not a thing about this film that is not to like. The choreography alone will leave you astounded while the direction of the film is nothing short of superb.

Overall, an excellent film that is certain to delight martial arts fans and particularly those who enjoy learning more about the secret world of the ninjas.

(Webmaster aside - Okay, I've had about enough of this. These Ninja Death films are just weird. Lots of disjointed action, confused storylines. Are Ninjas good or bad? It looks like either or both. I think my little buddy has no clue. He's just fascinated by all the wild action. I would only buy these out of curiosity. Buy any one and I will send you a link to the other two.)

Jackie Chan stars in yet another excellent martial arts film. This time Chan's character dreams of learning the mysterious martial arts. However, his father is vehemently opposed to any kind of fighting even if the purpose is self-defense. Chan's character encounters an outcast martial arts teacher in the forest one evening and he begins to teach Chan how to fight.

When Chan's father learns that his son has been fighting and learning martial arts behind his back he thinks up some rather creative forms of punishment. The ever increasingly tense storyline leads up to a grand finale of a showdown which leaves you once again in awe of Chan's tremendous skill.

Chan fans will certainly be delighted with this film and will want to add it to their collection. This is the type of film that begs to be seen again and again. With excellent direction, a strong storyline, superior acting and action scenes and choreography that will take your breath away this film is a certain winner.

Review

This top-billed film is definitely one that is worth watching. If you are a martial arts fan, you will find plenty about this film to enjoy. An excellent plot provides plenty of interest to this film; however, the real star is the great amount of action scenes. Fast paced Kung Fu action will keep you interested from the beginning of the film to the end.

Excellent characterization add to this film. Choreography is handled with depth and precision; to the point that you will find yourself practically holding your breath during several scenes.

If you are looking for a film that is exciting and yet has plenty of depth and interest, this is definitely one that you will want to see. If you are an avid martial arts fan, you will certainly want to add this film to your collection.
