An Italian Western, this film will leave you pasted to your seat. Guy Madison stars as a mercenary
who is acting as an undercover agent for the military in this very well handled western. The main
character of Martin Benson doesn’t make it home from the war. Instead he is working undercover and
has gained somewhat of a reputation as an outlaw.
Things begin to get really interesting when he is offered a large amount of gold in order to locate the
leader of a liquor and gun smuggling operation many of whose members he already assisted in
bringing down. Meanwhile members of the gang are out to get him, even targeting his family.
As time passes his parents are killed and his younger sister is raped. He and his brother then set out
to extract revenge, all the while, the remaining family members are continuing to be stalked by the
gang members. This is definitely one of the best Italian westerns around. If you enjoy this genre of
movie, you will be thrilled with this film. Guy Madison does an excellent job in the lead role.

Title - Trinity and Sartana Starring - Robert Widmark, Harry Baird, Dan May, Beatrice Pellh, Alan Abbott, Stelio Candelli Directed by - Mario Siciliano Producer(s) - Methens Film Screenwriter(s) - Adriano Bolzoni
Review
This is a great movie that no true Western fan should miss. Here we have two men who form a grudging partnership in order to cash in on some gold. Unfortunately, they fail to predict the amount of trouble it will cause for them and the results are brawls that are nothing short of comic. Fans of slap-stick spaghetti westerns (we don't have a separate category for this) will be delighted.
The backdrop of this film is nothing short of breathtaking. Unlike many other Westerns, which far too frequently focus on the violence of the Old West, this movie delivers a solid punch with a strong storyline and plenty of comedic relief moments. In addition, the cinematography is quite spectacular.
This is an action packed film that has been very well staged. You will be hog-tied to your seat waiting for the big final showdown scene-which doesn’t disappoint in the least. A twist in the story’s resolution catches you totally by surprise, making this a very satisfying film.

Title - Mad Dog Morgan Starring - Dennis Hopper, Jack Thompson, David Gulpill, Frank Thring, Michael Pate, Bill Hunter, Bobin Ramsay Directed by - Philippe Mora Producer(s) - Jeremy Thomas Screenwriter(s) - Philippe Mora
Review
Western fans will be hung on the edge of their seats with this diehard western. (Can you really have a
"western" in Australia? Wouldn't that be more like a "southern"?) Nevertheless, we begin our story in the autumn of 1865 when a notorious desperado and bushranger Dan Morgan crosses the Murray River from New South Wales into Victoria in order to battle with the law for the last time.
For the next 100 years what occurred remained a secret. This film delves into this fascinating tale, revealing the life and times of the rather extraordinary and romantic Australian villain Mad Dog Morgan.
Morgan is portrayed by the legendary Dennis Hooper during his ‘wilderness’ years; providing an excellent performance. His performance is assisted by a supporting cast of the cream of Australian acting including Jack Thompson. (Reviewers aside - you learn the most fascinating stuff reviewing movies.)
If you enjoy a gripping film based in truth and history, you need look no further than this classic film. This is another movie you will want to add to your collection and view time and time again.

Title - Savage Guns Starring - Robert Wood, Dean Stratford, Dennis Colt, Custer Gail, Simone Blondell Directed by - Miles Deem Producer(s) - Demofilio Fidani Screenwriter(s) - Miles Deem, Mila Vitelli
Review
This classic spaghetti western film reveals a ruthless and cruel bandit who has killed a tavern owner who ratted him out to the authorities. Unfortunately there was a witness to the murder and now this witness, Sam Wallach, realizes his life has changed forever. Things go from bad to worse after his brother is killed when he gets in the bandit’s way. Now Sam has sworn revenge and is out for blood.
While the film is quite dramatic there are also some wonderful comedic relief moments throughout. Robert Woods does a fine job portraying the role of Sam Wallach while Simonetta Vitelli (aka Simone Blondell) also portrays the role of Fanny the barmaid quite well.
The music score, by Lallo Gori, is nothing short of excellent. In fact, while the acting, story line and characterizations are all wonderful, the music score may be the highest-quality part of the movie, including skillful use of organ, guitar and trumpets in order to create emotion as well as suspense.
