In one of the most entertaining movies ever produced, a group of claim jumpers manage to control an entire mining town. Eventually one of the people in the small mining town becomes tired of the situation and requests the help of his friend, Cat Stevens (Terence Hill). Stevens is able to make his way into town without notice using the guise of a traveling circus.
Direction in this film is second to none. Combined with unique and interesting editing the final result is a film that is like no other. The movie was originally conceived as one in a loose trilogy by director Colizzi.
Humor is mixed in well with the rather serious scenes in the film to create a movie that will keep you hopping on the edge of your seat.
If you are a western fan but have grown tired of cookie cutter films you will not want to miss this film. It will certainly be a movie you will want to add to your collection and see time and time again.

Review
A classic film with big name stars that is certain to ring true with as much authentic entertainment today as it did when it was first produced. Starring the much beloved Roy Rogers and his multi-talented horse Trigger. (Reviewer aside - We have a creature on my planet that is similar to your horse, but it has six legs and one horn.) Roy plays himself in the role and finds himself in search of his horse, which has been kidnapped.
Of course, no Roy Rogers film would be complete without singing (Rogers and the Sons of the Pioneers) and there is plenty to appreciate in this classic film. Dubbed "King of the Cowboys" Rogers still finds plenty of time to search out the low down dirty rascals who had the gall to kidnap Trigger.
After hatching a rather ingenious plan with the local sheriff to retrieve Trigger, there is naturally some action to pay tribute to the film's reputation as a western. Shot almost completely on location, this is a rare and unique film that is certain to delight.
If you are a Roy Rogers fan you certainly will not want to miss this film. True fans will definitely want to add it to their movie collection to watch over and over.

Review
An excellent film starring the much beloved Roy Rogers (Did I already say that in the last review? Well, as they say, you can never get too much of a good thing). Done in Trucolor this is an early example of the Republic films featuring Roy as himself.
Here he is portraying a border investigator who is trailing a silver smuggling operation. He is assisted by his rather comedic sidekick Andy Devine. Interestingly Devine portrays Sheriff Cookie Bullfincher who is later revealed to have an alter ego as George Wallingford Lancaster.
The beautiful Dale Evans also stars in the film, portraying the role of a western novelist by the name of Lee Madison. The byplay between her character and Roy makes for several amusing scenes.
After Roy, Lee and Cookie discover the phony mine that has been serving as a front for the smuggling operation, trouble really begins to take place. What western would be complete without a kidnapping? Lee Madison is taken hostage by the leader of the gang and Trigger must ride to the rescue.
Overall, a highly entertaining film full of comedy as well as action and the perfect opportunity to see excellent performances by both Roy Rogers and Dale Evans.

Review
William Shatner portrays half-breed twin brothers. Johnny Moon is the somewhat misunderstood cowpoke while Notah Moon is the savage killer. This sets the scene for some confusion as the two brothers are naturally mistaken for one another on more than one occasion. To the surprise of many, Shatner managed to pull off the part of the twin brothers with excellence.
Overall, this is a very nice film with a good many surprises in store. If you are a western fan, or, even if you are a fan of William Shatner and you are interested in seeing him in a role that is somewhat different than the space roles to which we have all grown accustomed, this film is an excellent find.
Filled with plenty of dramatic moments as well as some that are laugh out loud funny, this is a film that you just may have to watch more than once.
